Early on, I suspect we will benefit a lot from defensive constellations to counterbalance our mostly offensive skill tree. Ultos, Shepherd of the Storm is the endgame constellation to go for. – 1pt: Fire Strike, Explosive Strike, Static Strike, Flame Touched, Temper, Vindictive Flame, Ulzuin’s Wrath – inquisitor seal: 1/12, null field: 1/1, arcane empowerment: 1/12 – rune of hagarrad: 1/16, biting cold 12/12, chillsurge: 12/12 – word of renewal: max, vigor: max, steel resolve: 10/10 – ranged expertise: 10/10, fire rounds: max, cold rounds: 8/10, lightning rounds: 7/10 Blast Shield will give us a good defensive skill for later in the game.

We’ll go with Demolitionist, for it complements our Inquistor with its gun focus and fire/lightning damage. Maybe getting more movement speed than usual will be useful. Aura of Censure would combine well with that.įor gear, we grab dual pistols and after that we get the usual resists, armour, health, damage. For sustaining yourself, the Inquisitor Seal could be an alternative/addition to Word of Renewal, but seems more useful for melee builds or a channeling build with Flames of Ignaffar. Word of Pain and Flames of Ignaffar seem like a good combination. Variations of the Inquisitor could focus on using spells instead of guns. Aura of Conviction and Deadly Aim hopefully allow us to do a decent amount of critical hits and have an aggressive focus. I’m imagining this to play like a ranged Nightblade, but in practice it might be very different. Our focus will be on fire and lightning damage, and we have a built-in sustain via Word of Renewal. We dual wield guns, shoot everything that moves, and stay mobile.
#GRIM DAWN HALLOWED HILL SERIES#
In this series we’ll play an Inquisitor through the expanded storyline, and see what this dual gun wielding class has to offer. Grim Dawn: Ashes of Malmouth is the first expansion for Grim Dawn, and it adds two new classes: the Necromancer and the Inquisitor.
